How do I arrange a care services with Care at Home?

What if I don't like my care package and want to make changes?
We understand that people's needs can change, this is why we carry out regular reviews and ensure your care package is working for you. If you ever feel anything is not right all you need to do is phone us and we will come and see you and talk through what options would be right for you.
Will I have the same care worker every day?
This depends on how many visits you have. We strive for continuity, so where possible, we will keep the same carer(s). But to cover days off, sickness or holidays, there will be an additional carer that knows you. We aim to keep the same carer with you as much as possible so they become familiar with you and your routine.
What happens when the office is closed?
Our office is open 9:30 until 16:30 Monday to Friday. Outside of these times, we have an on-call mobile number. The number is issued when you join us, so you will always have someone to contact to assist with emergencies with your care.
What tasks will my care worker carry out?
Our bespoke care packages will include in detail exactly what you wish our staff to do, and this will make up the staff work list for the scheduled period. Our care packages are regularly updated and amended to make any changes you wish to have in place.
ARE THERE ANY TASKS MY CARE WORKER CANNOT DO?
When a care package is finalised this will be the list our staff will work on for the day/week. We are not qualified to change sterile dressings or give injections etc. we also can't perform tasks that may cause risks or injuries to client or staff. Any changes to the plan can be discussed with the office.
PAYMENT FOR CARE?
Care at Home will set up a payment scheme with you; it will be based on your regular care need, and will be debited/paid for on an agreed date of each month. Anything outside of your contract will be invoiced separately at the end of the month and payment will be required within seven days.
