Training includes an initial induction, Care Certificate, Manual Handling, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults, Food Safety, Medication Awareness, First Aid and much more. This gives each carer the best training possible, giving them the self-assurance and skills to work in the community. After their initial training, all staff are given the opportunity to further their career within the company. We pay competitive hourly rates. Care at Home are always expanding so job and career opportunities are always available.

Do I have to pay for my DBS check (CRB)?
No, we cover the cost of your DBS.
Does this job involve working in the community?
Yes, you are supporting people in their own homes, you may also take them out to day centres, bingo, to the shops, coffee mornings to medical appointments and other local activities.
Will I get paid more for obtaining a health and social care NVQ/Diploma?
No, you will not get paid more for this, however we do provide you with all the support you need in the role to get your qualifications.
